Hi,
I am running LMS on an RPI4 (Picore 8.0) with the music files stored in
a Synology NAS. Everything works perfect.
Yesterday a notice that some of my playlist shows less song than they
should an checking the m3u files with notepad I find that the problems

Oww man this is really embarrassing!

I searched for any Logitech/SlimDevices and Squeezebox files, deleted
everything, downloaded 8.3.
Logged in to mysqueezebox on the net, after some time Logitech Media

I moved the computer close to the SB3 to see w
Haha, that explains something.
So this was mainly down to my own stupidity then although I have to say
that I did not expect a "timer" like behaviour but more a "turn of when
inactive" thing.
The other strange thing was that I had not touched the plugin at all. So
it must have "reset" itself som
Thanks for generating and attaching the log. I didn't see any PowerSave
plugin messages in there so perhaps something went wrong.
In this case the plugin is working as intended. 'Always' will turn off
the player after the time interval regardless of player activity. For
typical use, you would wa
So I reactivated the plugin again and enabled the DEBUG logging.
The log is attached and the plugin, very reliably, stopped the playback
again after 15min.
The setting was "always".
Hope this helps but would probably be a good idea if somebody else could
test it on their setup.
Cheers,

I'm the author of the PowerSave plugin. Can you check which version is
installed? Also, which of the three activation modes have you chosen for
the player?
The only way I can help is if you enable plugin debugging and note the
log messages when the player powers off. From the standard server

Hi,
this is basically true but I have not heard from anybody else if they
have this problem to begin with. So the solved referred more to my
specific problem but maybe not so much the root cause of it.

Hello to all,
for me, it looks not like solved, because the bug in the PowerSaving
Plugin is still there, or not?
Hopefully the auther of the plugin has some time to fix it, because I
have the same problem :(

Please try to edit /etc/default/logitechmediaserver or
/etc/default/squeezeboxserver and add --d_startup to the SLIMOPTIONS.
Then restart and re-check server.log.
I tried this. The process only lived for a few seconds before dying.
Still nothing in server.log :(
Ok, next up (as root):

The thing is I've had it running for quite some time on 7.9.2 and
earlier, so I know it works.
It stopped working (with no info in the logs), so I up
In Material, go to the Queue and click the three dots on one of the
