You're right, this seems to be one of the affected streams. I had
proxied streaming on, but direct streaming doesnt seem to be working
with ssl streams. I added the radio channel with a non-ssl link and
switched to direct streaming. Now i see way lower cpu usage, lets see if
that also fixes the

Your command line has an error - it tries to run but fails and so no
audio bytes are sent to LMS. Confirm the tokenzied command line work OK
on your system. As command line expects the vgm file on STDIN, to test
you'll need to do

Anyone able to shed any light on this? Re-installed 8.3 last time but
just gone to use it & got the same error. Uninstalled & re-installed
again but this time the error persists.
This is getting horribly reminiscent of the Logitech days when every
time you want to kick back & listen to some

Hmm... that's one of those streams which cause high CPU usage (see
https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/issues/700). I'm wondering
whether whatever activity is causing the CPU load might actually be
responsible for the "crash"?
I tried what Roland0 suggested but I'm kind of stuck here.
I compiled 'vgmplay

What sort of player ?
Is the stream being played direct by player or proxied by LMS ?

It happens always with the same stream, which is the radio station my
wife listens to all day:

It has not happened with other streams so far, but this one is playing
like 95% of the time and i'm sure i cant get her to listen to something
else for
sorry I don't have a solution. I looked at the hide menus plugin but it
seems its only for main menus.
But as an idea, could you rename the players so that they aren't use?
Something like "DoNotSelect" or "NothingToSeeHere". Even "###" Not
trying to be a wise guy, just an option

Would LMS still be running when it isn't responding any more? Check the
process list. Is it running out of memory? Disk space? Can you see a
pattern in what it's playing when this happens? What URL(s)?

Hi,
I'm having issues with LMS randomly crashing while playing radio streams
(Player saying: cannot connect to server). This happened with 8.1 and
now with 8.2.1 also (x64 on ubuntu 16.04).
The logs did not show anything around the time of the crash, when
setting all log entities to debug the
