Has anyone tried to run LMS on Debian or Ubuntu running on WSL?
I haven't, but I'm very interested in your findings. Please share your
experience!
The reason why I'm interested in this is that we're kind of stuck with

I use the uPNP/DLNA bridge with a couple of different endpoints. It
works pretty well (including artwork display, native player controls and
LMS controls), but it is perhaps slightly flakier than using a native
player. There are a lot of settings to play with which might improve
matters, but
I use the bridge to connect to a pairof Kef LSX wireless speakers.
Initially I had occasional problems with the speakers failing to move on
to the next track, but since ticking the "Flow" option in the UPNPBridge
settings that no longer happens - the plugin and speakers are used for
hours each
I simply installed PhillipeÂs DLNA UPNP Bridge on LMS and my Naim Uniti
Atom just showed up as a player in LMS. Not only did playing a song work
great, but the album art and title showed perfectly on the Uniti

If I understand correctly WSL = Windows Subsystem for Linux, right? I
don't have experience with installing LMS on WSL, but I wonder why you
want to install LMS on WSL.
Since you are already running

Code:
2021-12-24 10:58:25 squeezeboxserver_safe started.
[21-12-24 10:58:27.0314] main::init (390) Starting
System details: Version of LMS, what type of player ? Some SB player
such as SB2,SB3, Boom and some builds of squeezelite can play WMA
natively.
Any message in LMS log file ?
