I spent the last three days backing-up my music library, which I haven't
done for a while. Then, this evening I started to prepare to wipe the
system to reinstall. Tool a look in /etc/squeezebox folder to see if I
should back anything up and there is the modules.conf file, that lists
the minimum

Locally applied patches:
DEBPKG:debian/cpan_definstalldirs - Provide a sensible INSTALLDIRS
default for modules installed from CPAN.
DEBPKG:debian/db_file_ver - https://bugs.debian.org/340047 Remove
overly restrictive DB_File version check.
DEBPKG:debian/doc_info - Replace generic man(1)

Arch is x86_64 and perl (I think as pc is at home) is 5.28 Which is the
default in eoan.

Hi,
I just upgraded my Ubuntu version to 2019.10 eoan and am getting this

My personal issue is RESOLVED and was DNS related. After flushing DNS
caches and forcing a standard NS lookup on the firewall, everything is
behaving normally, including mysqueezebox.com and apps listings. I am
sorry to have generated so much noise on this list for something that

Thanks for all the good suggestions and well spotted d6jg regarding the
IP address. I'll start with a more thorough investigation of DNS on the
affected host, compared with the working one and take it from there.

Thanks for the advice, I see three cache.db files (when the server is
running:
locate cache.db

Hi,
I've been running LMS for a few years, with Spotify - Spotty amd
youtube apps. Both have shown up in LMS and on my player (squeezelite),
but were suddenly gone from the LMS web interface (although still
installed.
The log is listing loads of network-related errors, but network is fine

Stupid question here:
If I have a custom-convert.conf file in the plugin directory, does
that completely override C-3PO? I.e would C-3PO be ignored for that
plugin?

Hi again,
Now I have access to the system and logs.
I have enabled info logging for player.source, player.streaming,
player.streaming.direct and plugin.C3PO
First, here's what succesful playback looks like:
Here's the server log of a successful DASH-flac playback, with C-3PO

Hi,
I had some problems playing the new(test) BBC Radio 3 flac streams
when C-3po plugin is enabled for the player. Everything else has been
playing fine up to now.
Even if I disable all the options for flac in the C-3po player-specific
settings table, the BBC stream doesn't play. It plays fine
Fair enough! I'll wait ;)

Hi all,
Yesterday I made an OS cleanup mistake that cost me half the packages
on my system.
I had been running LMS 7.9 branch (reguarly updated) quite happily up
to that point.
After reinstalling I now have a fully functioning system again: Fully
functioning except for LMS which dies instantly:
