I was hit by the Perl update too and managed to downgrade Perl without
having to uninstall LMS.
However it requires SSH access to the Synology.
- stop the perl package via synopkg stop Perl
- locate the volume where the Perl binary is installed 
/volumeX/@appstore/Perl
- delete the Perl folder via rm -r 
- go to /var/packages and delete the Perl folder in here as well
Now you can go to the Webinterface again and manually install the old
version of Perl by uploading the pkg file
After that the LMS package is able to start again
