Hi Reinholdk,
Thank You for your input.
I'm absolutely aware that these solutions exist.
Those solutions mean in turn that they have to listen 24x7x365 into
every sound coming either from my

Since I have the chance, maybe you allow me to raise a Point/Suggestion

Hi Michael,
Whilst trying out the different LMS Versions, I found that 8.0.1 still
works on Ubuntu Server LTS 14.04,
which doesn't receive updates anymore since April 2019.
I logged them for the 2 versions that didn't work and attached a Logfile
each.
If it would be possible to somehow easily

Hi Michael,

I had tried the "Reliable" Plugin. That didn't improve the situation. The
URLs of the SRF Podcasts I tried were all HTTPS and I seem to remember
that the Reliable Plugin works for HTTP. I'm not sure wheter that helps as

Hi Michael,
Thanks a lot for Your reply. I'm aware that this is way old and I'm
already setting up in parallel a second server.
But since I as well run my FHEM Home Automation on the same server, I
first will need to resolve all the Driver issues
before going productive with it. I think It will
Hi together,
My LMS 7.9.3 showed a new version of LMS being available. I then

Hi bpa,
Attached You'll find a longer part of the Server log for the Bad

In terms of logging I've the
Hi Everybody,
I managed to narrow the problem down further. Indeed the behaviour is
the same if i now use Ubuntu LTS 14.04 with Squeezboxserver 7.9.3.x
or with Ubuntu LTS 20.04 with the latest Version 8.0.1.x
Squeezeboxserver. MP3 Strams or Podcasts will not start.
The only Radio that i
Hi bpa,

In this case I better hurry in setting up the new server under LTS20.04

Hi togehther,
i'm a bit at a loss on how to try to fix not playing Radio Stations or
Podcasts to work.
I'm using a number of Squeezelite Players (PiCore Player 6.1.0) on
RasperryPi's mostly with HifiBerry DAC+ and AMP2 as well as some IQAudiO
Boards.
Besides the PiCore Player I also use 2 Squee
