Does the problem occur with Spotify only or also when streaming flac
files from say a PC or Mac to the Touch?

The constant stoppage on 7.9.2 only happened after a recent Windows
update. Framework 3.5 or something similar sounding. 7.9.3 does
resolve it for me too.
