Are the PPC (Power PC) builds of 8.1.1 compatible with Deezer hifi,
because no matter what I do it wont run on my Touch from a Synology
213+ NAS. Keeps playing 320kbs mp3s :-(

It certainly should play FLAC, no matter what the platform. 8.1.1 is the
minimum LMS. The only check LMS or mysb does

Good to know. Could it be that I am only on a 1 month free hifi trial
upgrading from premium? Could their api still be registering me as
premium and not hifi?
I wouldn't be surprised, but I don't know.

Okay, I was talking to Deezer support for two hours today, and it turns
out the issue was with my account, apparently the API simply will not
update my account to play flac, so just for fun I tried to create a new
account with 1 month trial of hifi, and lo and behold, hifi works and my
Touch play
