The idea is I tried to rename all my tags to be as Spotify tags, because
Spotty needs this to use the Browse on Spotify feature. It works

On Spotify and other services unfortunately the tagging leaves a lot to
be desired and you are going to get errors no matter what you do

Id argue that an Original Soundtrack to a film etc (if thats what you

However if you want to defeat the LMS scan logic tag the AlbumArtist as
OST or similar. Provided there is no compilation tag set it will then
appear as a

I think you are right. But it is a strange behaviour. Your idea could

Hi a again:
All of you solved my problems with the artistsort tag.
I am having problems with the compilation tag. LMS, tells me that some
discs are compilation. But the compilation tag in YATE (I am using this
software is unchecked).
What is happening? Could you help me?

I've always used 'kid3' (https://kid3.kde.org/#download) for tagging
audio files on my MacBook. AFAIK it's free, and pretty straightforward
to use.

Hi again Garym:
I solved all my problems, but no with Bryan Adams:
I show you the info:

This is a mp3tag screen. I downloaded a demo.
I cant see this info in Yate. Must I buy mp3tag?

I have no idea about Yate. Never used it.
Glad youve found the culprit. After correction you will need a Clear &

I use mp3tag for all my tagging. I'd take one of these odd artists
(David Bowie), open all his files in YATE, and then somehow look at all
the tag values aross these files. It is easy in mp3tag, as I'd just
select all these folders, and in mp3tag, right click, select "extended
tags" and I'd see

It could be, but New Order and
Look carefully at your tags for all Bryan Adams tracks. If there is one
track with an ARTISTSORT tag that says Adams, Bryan then that is why.
That single instance effects every Bryan Adams track.
It will be similar for other artist issues.

Hi:
I have a collection of 1200 local discs
When ordering by Artist, there are several (4 o 5) that are not
correctly sorted
I.e Bryan Adams appear in letter A
David Bowie appears in letter S
New order also appears in letter S
Where can be the problem?
