You shouldn't need to start LMS via your desktop shortcut. LMS is running already as shown in the status message in your screenshot (and as the "Abort scan" button indicates, it was scanning your library for new and changed files). You have chosen the startup option "Automatically run at login"

Since rebuilding my computer this morning and after re-installing LMS, whenever I click on the LMS desktop icon I get the following error message: 28845 Why is this happening? Thanks OS: Windows 10 LSM: 7.9.2 +---+ |Filename:
