The MediaServer Alexa skill will tell you if a song you are adding to a
named playlist already contains that exact version of the song. If its
a different version it allows it. And you specify the name of the
playlist to target by voice so you can use as many as you like. If the
playlist does not
Just to know : this new Material feature is based on the couple of tags
-Artist- and -Title-, right ? (based on what the confirmation message
says)
No issue here, just to understand the exact behaviour, since this could
lead to the removal of -different versions- of a same song by a same
artist.

No, it should display when you click on a playlist, duplicates or no
duplicates.

I have not checked to see where it is (if anywhere) in the UI but it was
added in the release that was made in very recent days so check that you
are on the latest.

feature to de-duplicate playlists. Can you help by telling us where it

I'm actually having the exact same issue, resulting from the very same
use case (adding songs to some static playlists over time, not knowing
if they're already present).
I'd even consider any kind of external (meaning out of the LMS workf
I run 7.9.2 with Playlist Manager v6.1. It works well. If i hear a
song i want to add to a playlist, on my controller i click "+" and "Add
to playlist". Now my favorite playlist is getting long and sometimes i
