Unfortunately scanner for me doesn't work. The same behavior as I wrote
above.
The problem here is that the issue could be on several components: the
Samba configuration on the NAS, the locale settings on the NAS, the
configuration of the mount point, the mount parameters on the LMS side,

This music / playlist folder display discrepancy may be something
Michael would want to have a look at. It could be more than just a
cosmetic problem.

There were some problems with 8.3 filename support disabled. But I
didn't follow these discussions, you'd have to search this forum.
This music / playlist folder display discrepancy may be something
Michael would want to have a look at. It could be more than just a
cosmetic problem.

No, I don't think so. I have two copies of LMS. One of them installed on
Windows based NAS and other on RPi 3. I tried to scan Music Library on
both copies of LMS. On NAS it passed, on RPi it freezes at the nearly
same

Trying to access 'problem' folder via Music Folder also freezes LMS.
This process freezez with 100% proccessor perfomance:
Code:
/usr/bin/perl /usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver --prefsdir
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs --logdir /var/log/squeezeboxserver/ --cachedir
The situation with Audio Scan is incredible for me. I don't understand
even how it can reach such unexpected behavior.
During several days, I made about hundred of scans trying to find bad
files, which lead scanner to freeze. There are nothing information in
scanner log file. That is why I

But I have no problems with Cyrillic file or folder names. So perhaps
it's just for libraries' root folders where it does not work (bug). Did
you try

Is any of these files playable with any other player on the rpi ?
* Music library located on a NAS ->

deschman:
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103330-Jivelite-for-piCorePlayer/page90
If it works, can you report back here?
Cheers,

This is music folder that I see in Raspberian:
'/mnt/music/_'
This is music folder, that I'm add in LMS after
