floders LMS is set up to Scan in the settings .
It's scanning your "onedrive" for example some Facebook picture .
Also untickmscan for pictures and movies on your actual music
direktoriers you want LMS to Scan .

Thanks Mnyb, but I have no idea what that error msg means do you? As
indicated in my recent post above, LMS isn't set up to scan that folder,
nor do I have any options ticked to scan for pictures or video. I did
turn off the picture gallery plugin but it still crashed this morning at
the same time

Yes your previous post scared me and I closed the port forwarding right
away but my LMS still crashed. Doesn't it seem weird and highly unlikely
that if this was a hacker that they would access my system to initiate a
scan of my images, and my LMS would crash WITHIN ONE MINUTE of the exact

So the scheduled rescan for 2 pm was successful and my LMS didn't crash.
I'll let you know if anything changes, perhaps the issue was that
picture gallery plugin.

Yes that's the the GD reziser error .
But that's the exploit if you have open ports someone can simply

but all my servers seem to randomly lose their connection to LMS. i

additional random data point: both Tidal and Qobuz are acting very
strange. some tracks play, some won't, browsing via LMS is very slow.
respective desktop apps work fine.

Not similar at all you need your own tread .
Op of this tread had the server crashi
server log attached.
Looks like a successful scan for new and changed files: nothing new
found, successfully ended.
As somebody else mentioned you might want to increase the log level for
scan.* (Settings/Advanced/Logging), then start a new thread where you
describe your problem with inform
For me the crash is directly related to the Picture Gallery plugin. I
might be one of the ones Michael was referring to with regard to this
plugin being enabled by default... Here is my post from another

Oh man, frustration continues. Well it crashed again tonight. No obvious
signs in the log what happened. No errors relating to picture scanning

By the way, if people want to use LMS when away from home they should
use a VPN. Don't expose your LMS to the internet! A VPN lets your
smartphone or whatever privately and securely enter your home network,
and then you can connect to LMS.
