Would it be possible to add a new sort option to LMS so that albums can
be sorted with latest releases at the top?
We currently only store the release year. And we already have sorting by
year in place (for albums). Changing this would be a considerable amount

Just -Year Descending- would be very nice (That's what Custom Browse do
I assume). It would still put latest album in top in most cases. And at
least near top if several releases same year.
As I said: that's already implemented for albums, at least in the
default skin.

I was hoping for an option to always sort year descending. Or add extra
sort options:
-Year desc,Album-

Yes, in each case that would be a good and logical way to display
Albums.
