I just saw a ssods faq with an entry with the title -Use binary Perl modules shipped with SBS-. It references a file called -/opt/ssods4/share/sbs/shipped-binaries- # List of files shipped with SSODS that are also in $SSIDR. All paths/files # listed here are relative to $SSDIR. ssctrl will

Cool, looks like it is working. Flac decoding to PCM on the qnap server/LMS seems to work now ! Cool. Just keep in mind you might need to do this every time you update LMS on your machine. Would you know whether there's a Slim/Utils/OS/Custom.pm in SSOTS? If so, you might be able to tweak

Looks like SSOTS uses /opt/ssods4/bin/perl This problem is not about perl itself, but about some helper binaries like I mentioned (flac, faad etc.). As you're running a 32 bit Perl, it would be looking for 32 bit binaries, too. But LMS does come with 64 bit binaries. You just have to find
