Probably the router failing to operate properly as constantly trying to
connect.

Broadband finally got fixed by engineer - lo and behold album art now
showing on Touches.
So either internet / broadband connection was required, or he did
something during the 40 mins repair (which involved both outside &
inside work) which fixed it.
Still weird though ...

seems like a network problem so a factory reset of Touch not likely to
help. First I'd do this, even if done before:

This is getting weirder now..
SqueezeCommander has stopped communicating with the Touch - if I select
an album to play it says it's playing the album, but the Touch ignores
the instruction.
Could this all be network related ?

Has the LMS machine changed IP address in the move? My bet is cached
info on the Touch and that it will right itself in due course.

Thanks - did a complete clear & rescan. Still no joy :(
There was a big windows 10 update on shutdown (which has sometimes
affected LMS performance). No effect either.
What an earth could be happening where album art is fine on LMS web
interface and mobile app, but just not getting through to

We have no internet connection yet in our new house, but have been
streaming music fine from my laptop LMS 7.9.
However album art is not appearing on the Touch screen (but is on my
mobile via SqueezeCommander).
Does the Touch require internet connection to show album art ? If not
