I've got non standard dirs with no problem.
I think you should delete all files in the move cache directory and
rebuild all the files inlcuding library.db.

I run LMS on an odroid HC2 which uses a SDC card to host the system
(debian stretch+OMV+LMS).
In order to reduce writes on SD card, I tried to use
