Not sure if this helps, but... I'm pretty sure that SqueezeCtrl uses
'SlimBrowse' to retrieve artist, albums, and genre listin

I used the latest build here:

Same behavior. In this case it's:
My Music
The short of it is that there is an inconsistency in the behavior
between accessing LMS from the browser interface vs. controllers (like
Squeeze Control in my case).
Could you please verify with Squeezeplay? That's kind of the reference
implementation for controllers.
