a question to the Pros out there:
If I use the "random mix" for a specific genre to play - e.g. "lounge"
and I choose "random album", what defines that an album is taken into
the playlist, if it contains the genre "lounge" as well as other
genres?

An album can have multiple genres and should appear listed in LMS in all
of them. If you select Random

Ok, this meams, if I really do only want to have Genre A played, I
cannot choose "Random album" for Genre A, if I don't know, if all songs
in the Album contain Genre A, right?

I don't know. Over the years I decided to define the tagging on the song
base and not (anymore) the album base. A couple of hunderets
cerrtainly...
Often I have chosen to play random songs and not random albums...
