Been in the same boat. Changed for LMS only to pi3 with picoreplayer.

Boom (Dining room), 1x piCorePlayer (jacuzzi), 1x piCorePlayer (Garden)
1x OSMC + Squeezelite (Movie room), 1x Touch (Bedroom)
*Server:* LMS on Pi3 7.9.1.
If you want Spotify via LMS then you are going to need to move it to new
hardware.

That may explain it, now comes up with an error message about spotty exe
not being a win 32 application
