Correction - that should be "You can make a url_regex pattern that matches
the bad URLs, but Squid will still have to process the requests."

Hai,
The two domains are already trusted, but I am wondering how to request
the users of both domain with winbind.
For example, I usually use #wbinfo -u for querying user, but how to do
it for querying users in the two domains ? Is there any modification
needed on smb.conf ?

Hi.
How can a redirector return an URL which corresponds to a password
protected server and return a valid user:password pair to this server too?
Thanks in advance.
Hi.
I'd like to validate the users by using an authenticator. Their ids/pwds
are in a SunONE users file but i can't seem to find a way to check for
the password which is SSHA coded. Hint?
The file is something like:
user;{SSHA}aZh7dXq20LpXk9z3V5+n06py2XWW3wJVp9e3eg==;profile
The current downloads is shown in CacheMgr, Client-side Active Requests.

OK, it works. Is this sufficiently new technology that nobody has ever
tried these things? I've been hearing about squid for years, it seems.

There is a nice page in CacheMgr that tells you why you get TCP_MISS.
Check the "Refresh Algorithm Statistics" page. TCP_MISS show up as Stale.
It could be a good starting point for further investigation.

Hi,
I am running 2.5 Stable 5. I want to monitor the active users and their
sessions (especially downloads) in real-time so that I can point out the
aggressive users. I have tried couple of software but either those are not
real-time or those are not upto my requirement.
Any help?

Dear all,
I am using winbind authentication with squid. So far, windbind
authentication to single Domain has no problem. But in our environment,
the users using squid are distributed on two different domains, so I
need winbind to be able to authenticate to two different Domains.
