Oh yes, is it because I am also using delay_pools? Because my
delay_pools does not seems to be working correctly as well. I am
using latest stable squid and iptables 1.3.0 and squid 2.5 stable11.
Appreciate if anyone can give me some clue.

Hello all,
We are testing Squid 2.5 stable 12 on a Fedore Core 4 server (Dell PowerEdge
1850).
We found that the Squid process would do automatic restart quite frequently
(sometimes
3 times a day).
Sometimes one of the following errors may appear in the cache.log.
assertion failed: fqdncache
Hello all,
It's still not working :(
Thanx for your help :)

Hello all,
I need to run multiple web servers off of a single public IP (home
network behind a NAT firewall). The solution I've devised involves
having a the firewall forward all attempts to access port 80 of the
public IP to an internal machine running squid in httpd_accelerator
mode on port 80.
Thank you but on that side it seems to be ok:
the Squid runs as _squid:_squid
gate:afarber {238} ps auwwwx | grep 'squ[i]d'
root 31927 0.0 0.1 960 568 ?? Is 1:20PM0:00.01
/usr/local/sbin/squid -D
_squid 14284 0.0 2.2 6736 8464 ?? S 1:20PM0:07.91
(squid) -D (squid
I don't know the answer to your problem, but I can confirm that
transparent mode and squid_redirect do work together, at least on Linux.
Here's a snippet of my 2.5.STABLE12 squid.config:
httpd_accel_port 80
httpd_accel_host virtual
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header on

Hi
Is there any software available to create and maintain a "whitelist" for
squid with some sort of authorisation process or something?
What I want to achieve is a whitelist of allowed sites and block all others.
I've already setup the ACL rules and an ERR Messages to display a TEXT input

Ok, try removing this line
no_cache deny all
I take it, gauging by the lack of any responses :-) that this is not possible?
