Hello.
I've been told that they are currently rewriting some bigger parts of it
and that I am to use an "older" patch.
However, I have a working (with Stable12), rather current version of the
ICAP patch, together with some "hotfixes" which help getting rid of some
assertions without compromisi

I know it looks at the FROM header and maybe this note didn't need to go

My point was that every time (s)he asks a question and someone wants to
answer it, they'll get this
hideous response back, unless they've answered it before.

Hey list,
All of a sudden some of my acls isn't working. I'm running Dansguardian
2.8.0, Squid 2.5, and webmin 1.23 on Fedora Core 2. I created (3)
acls. I work in a youth center, and I needed to restrict access to a
website during certain time periods. (2) of the acl's are date and time
Can I suggest that if you plan to take part in email-based discussions
that you not use a hideous mechanism like
this to manage your email?
Using a service like UOL Antispam for personal use is fine.
Public email lists are not. That service you're using requires the
following in order for us t
The CPU doesn't really play all that much of a role in the performance of
Squid. (Obviously faster CPUs are nice, but really not important with
squid)
Disk I/O and Memory are much more important than the speed of the cpu.
Disk size and memory size are contingent on each other.
Unfortunately, i

Repost of a previous message.
I'd like to rephrase:
Does anybody know if there is some technical necessity (other than memory
pressure on the kernel's tcp subsystems) to limit squid to using only 64KB
TCP windows?
On the client side - LAN with relatively low RTTs - this seems sensible.

Hello all,
I'm trying to add ICAP support to my Squid 2.5.STABLE12 on Debian 3.1.
I've downloaded the sources and the patch from CVS
http://devel.squid-cache.org/cgi-bin/diff2/icap-2.5.patch?s2_5
I've configured Squid with the ntlm authentication module.
The patch applies fine, but I get the fo

In front of It I use squid as a cache.
People need to login to use the app servers
