Hello,
Is it possible for squid to accept proxy authentication via a web page
(FORM based maybe?) instead of causing the browser to pop up a dialogue
box? Basically I would like for all the authentication to be done via
one web page, this way I can give user's more information..

I had no luck. Everything started when I installed Gentoo with Squid on
64 bit architecture. It is dual Xeon 3.4 with 2 GB of RAM. My CFLAGS are

It is in transparent mode. There is no need to configure anything in the
browser.

We had a power outtage a couple of days ago and ever since my transparent
proxying is working very slowly.
When I enter the proxy manually in my browser, I get nice and fast speed. When
I remove the proxy info and go directly through my firewall without the proxy
forced I get good speed. Howe

/usr/local/squid/var/cache. And when I tried to execute the command:
squid -z
I get:

Still no luck with the authentication via smb_auth. The auditing doesn't log
any failure events. Also the Network monitor on the server captures about 5
packets when I try to do the authentication. None of these packets relate to
SMB, they are all just NBT packets.
Any other Ideas.

the sarg-realtime.php, it shows up, but empty. It even refreshes every 3
seconds, but I dont know why it is all empty. How do I configure that?
