Using it on 6 servers, each has 12 disks, 250GB each disk, reiserfs

Hi,
I'm running several Squids (2.5 STABLE 12) in a reverse proxy setup
behind a load balancer. I want the load balancer to be able to health
check the Squids independent of whether the origin servers are currently
available (there are other health checks that cover all bases). For

Hi,
Has anyone use aufs cache_dir on Linux? Any comment, insight about it?
The description indicates that aufs utilizes POSIX-threads thus avoid
blocking the main squid process to access disk-I/O. Wonder if there is
any unknown problem?
I am running squid 2.6 on Linux AS 4, update 3.

Hello, all.
I would like to leave logs only "Access Denied" 403(forbidden) error
related.
Anyone who can help me?
How can I set squid.conf to leave only "Access Denied" error to log file?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello,
I have used squid 2.6 stable4 for reverse proxy for 10 domains.
It works well, but from time to time I can meet "Access Denied" error.
Then if I execute "/usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -k reconfigure", works
again well without error.
But after sometime, "Access Denied" error occurs aga
kern.maxproc=1000
squid compiled with --with-maxfd=32768
what else can make problem?
What does netstat -m say ?
How about upping kern.ipc.maxsockbuf a tad ?

lots of available.
