I authentiate my proxy users against my MS domain via ldap. Is it
possible to do the same against Netware?

Could be. It's defenitely not https anyhow even if port 443 is reserved
for https.

Yes. Novell NDS and eDirectory is both quite capable LDAP servers..

https_port is only needed in reverse proxy setups, where you want Squid
to sit infront of your webserver.
It's not used for client-Internet
