Hi,
The SSL_safe port is not working.
I've to enable SOCKS V4 OR Z39.50 protocol to be enabled.
Can someone tell me how to do this?

Hi all,
I use squid as revers proxy to server web pages.
Therefore I want to disable 301 sites to be cached.
My rule is:
acl stat301 http_status 301
cache deny stat301
//some lines deeper
acl aclname http_status 200 301 302 500- 400-403 ... # status
code in reply
I mention 301 sites

hi everyone,
Someone posted a request here a few days ago for how to convince
"squirm" to use parts of a regular expression match in a rewritten
URL. This isn't a new request, and I've done it a bunch of times in my
own rewriters, but I figured I should get around to doing it in a
generic way so I

If it hasn't been swapped out to disk, the object has to stay in RAM
until the client(s) currently fetching from it have fetched enough for
part of the object (ie, the stuff at the beginning which has been sent
to clients) to be freed.

Haven't you mistaken 304 for 200 ? the 200 means that the server is sending
the whole content to the client, while 304 means server is telling the
client that the content on client is still fresh. So with big expir

Squid is an HTTP proxy at this point in time.
To use SOCKS you will need a SOCKS proxy.

As you see the out of object dump in my previous mail, there is no client
fetching the object.
If an object has clients fetching it, object dump should print out the
client list information too, if any.
In addition, at the dump time, squid had no client connection.

When I try to curl -I some object to squid,
it has output
x-cache: MISS
x-cache-lookup: HIT
so, I alter the refresh pattern, and than do curl the same object, and
squid answer
x-cache: HIT
x-cache-lookup: HIT
Could any guys here give explanation ?
Thanks.
