Allo all I was wondering. :-) I have squid setup to authenticate against Active directory and all works woderfully. Now I want to configure it to proxy ftp too(doesn't need to cache) but it must authenticate. I currantly use ftp-proxy but the ldap/AD auth is pretty auwfull and I would

The trace you have above is Squids view of things. You need to send -d to the helper itself (if available) to get the helpers view of whats going on inside there. Indeed, the client seems broken. In that case, there are extra spaces appended after the user name : [2011/08/12 17:20:30, 3]
