Im looking for some refrences abount ufdbguard with squid..
Would be great if somene in this squid list can give me some feedback
that they use it with squid.. problems etc...

hmm ok.. thats bad. need that option or is there another way to get the
ip adresses from the clients?

DOMAIN
here's the line

I have a squid server for 6K users.
the machine is a HP-lpc 2000 dual 1Ghz, 4Gb ram and with 2 raid1 one for the os and
swap, the second for cache. The only performence loss for my machine is at monday
morning when every user begin at there work and it slow downs the machine
for about 10 min

Im running Squid with Squirm, Viralator and Sophos for a domian with 5500 users and it
works very nice. it dloads it localy and scan them on the proxy and then
send it to the client nice and clean... :)
This company wanted this, when i told them that it was possble...
and i recomend it

We have a squid 2.4.STABLE7 l with kernel-2.4.22
Then problem is that the machine get very high load and kswapd takes
about 100% of the cpu this happens when there are lots of new requests
to squid and when squid has taken around 800Mb ram.. the high load
stays for aboun 30 min.

But the machine has 4Gb ram so why not using 500MB ? is it better to let
squid increase if it's needed?

Should't this be relative to the amount of clients that connects to the
machine ?
The machine as im using serves 5k users
therefore i thought it should have a larger cache_mem.
the Squid proccses at the moment RSS 64Mb
ill check later and see it's get any higher.
