Right, i have got squid to block by IP ranges via a web app i have created, is there a way to enable access to the server thru the proxy when in the banned list, is there a localhost directive or something. Many many thanks Chris

is it possible to send the squid -k reconfigure (is this the same as service squid reload) command to squid from a php script via the web browser will this just reload the config aswell ??? i need to reload the config and keep connections live. thanks
