I have had squid 3.0 pre3 20050415 running on a RHEL 4.0 box since May of 2005,
and now all the sudden, it times out on https connections accelerated through
the firewall to an outlook web access server inside the network.
I had been making changes to the squid.conf file to limit ssl traffic to
none the less, it was working just fine, and now it does not.

Actually, I ended up doing this with one exception. I found in a FAQ that since
2.3 you have to put in a leading dot for this to work now.

How can I tell where I need to put the new intermediate.crt file I just got

I'm using squid.2.5.stable4 in a proxying for SSL configuration. I have a

Every time I try to start Squid calling for port 443 to be accelerated, I
get an error stating that the key does not match the name of the machine.
Any thoughts on how to correct this? I'm using a self generated cert using
openssl.
Thanks,
Charles
I'm running the -z option which should create the swap directory, but I get
an error of:
permission denied.
I'm running this as root.
Thanks

I have an external box on which I'm setting up a verisign certificate but
squid asks me for a PEM phrase every time I start squid. Eventually the
squid process exits without any entries in any logs. The only thing I'm
changing from test to prod is the following lines:
This works: https_port 443
