Before compiling squid, try changing the value of the __FD_SETSIZE in
the /usr/include/bits/typesizes.h file as
#define __FD_SETSIZE8192
and then in the shell prompt
ulimit -HSn 8192
and try
echo 1024 32768 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_local_port_range
then compile and install squid

save your username and password and when you open the browser it will
not ask for the authentication.
Note: You cannot use authentication with Transparent proxy
