i had a look at one of the commercial
products recently and they do some kind of single sign-on for their proxy
service
- the user will logon for the first
time with username/password
- a flash cookie (LSO - local stored o
scenario:
users use a client/browser which is located on the company lan using a private
IP address
the company lan is
protected by a firewall which translates all web access into one public IP
address
the proxy is implemented as a 'cloud
service' which does only see the translated (nat'ed) pub
