Ah, the email reply makes sense now, wondered if it was someone who had

I've got a couple of squid servers on private lan, acting as reverse proxy to
a web server each.
I currently have LVS in master/slave setup pointing to the web servers. I
wanted to switch my LVS master/slave to point to squid but using the send =
"GET / HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n" and expect = "HTTP" doesn

to get this working so that I could learn about it, fine tunning as I go.
I've yet to get SSL to work on port 443 so that's one item but the other is

Lordy, sorry about the multiple posts, just kept getting a blank white page
when I would send so wasn't able to tell if I was sending or not.

So with your help, I now have squid running and it seems to be doing ok. I'm
not yet sure what to expect in terms of speed but in quick tests so far;
site 1- From 8.8 to 4.2
site 2 - From 4.6 to 4.9
site 3 - From 13.8 to 6.6
site 4 - From 2.3 to 2
site 5 - From 13.3 to 9
site 6 - From 24.
