Wiping the cache directories works, but is only a temporary solution. I have tried changing the drive and ide cable but no change. With squid off, this machine is stable. This is my squid.conf: Two lines look a bit odd, cache_store_log none and visible host name streamyx. shutdown_lifetime 5 sec
