We use external authentification on ldap repository on a remote machine,
and have a problem when use a ttl time, the proxy require to validate
very frequently to all users.

Squid contains many cache types, none of them are called offline
cache. Or any of them *might* be used when Squid

Long time ago squid had an option offline_mode which could be set to
on or off.
Maybe you ask for this option - it's deprecated. Don't use it.
