A brand new Dell server using Red Hat connect in production worked fine for a
few months when suddenly start crashing 3 times per day.
Here are a few messages generated every hour:

The "patch" must be inserted in a file or how can I apply this patch? The
downloaded file is tunnel_ssl[1].bug.patch.txt

Despite the filename it should be a standard linux diff patch.

My squid server is in production, so the nightly release suppose to be applied
like new install .. squid-3.0.PRE5-20070406 or must apply only the diff as a
patch. The existing configuration will be wiped out?

New install.
