Do the clients connect to the Squid port or to the Dansguardian port?
Clients Connect to Dansguardian, then it connects to squid, then squid
goes out of the net.
Why Dans->Squid->Web and not Squid->Dans->Web?
Why, coz all the configuration i've seen does it this way. I didn't
think it worked

Do you know if Dansguardian supports NTLM now?
The latest version does but from what I understand you still need squid
to do the actual authentication.
Dansguardian just uses the ntlm username for group based filtering.
My Setup is
Dans --> Squid --> Web

I remember that the old versions
I think that it should work with your Samba PDC server if it is
running ok, but I use a W'2003 and the config is made for that, just
try...
Also take care about smb.conf
