hy, i ve got a problem with me squid,
squid.config lines:
cache_mem 127 MB
cache_dir diskd /cache/squid/ 2048 16 256
cache_store_log /cache/squid/squid_store.log
cache_swap_log /cache/squid/swap.log
the squid says that the disk is full, i thought that squid is deleting
files in the cache, when s

Maybe the part
there are 2 proxies on the same machine with the same cache disk.
the disk size is 4,3 GB:
/dev/sdb1 4.2G 3.5G 712M 84% /cache
the 2 proxies are confted with the same cache_dir settings, pasted in the
last mail.
yet i ve got deleted one cache, so i have free place on the disk. ( df
paste
my problem is that the squid _isn't_ deleting files from his cache, any
reason why?

Not with the same directory I hope? There can only be one Squid accessing
the same cache directory at a time.

maybe the problen is not on the cache part of the disk but on the
squid_store.log and swap.log who is on the same disk.
try to remove some old squid_store.log and/or swap.log to see how it'
hanlde it.

It does in all installations I know of.
Have you configured log rotation?
