Hi, Thanks for the response. When running squid in strace then was displaying -1, EAGAIN(Resource temporarily unavailable). Also, another command called host that I think uses the same DNS server(/etc/resolv.conf on linux) was resolving the urls correctly. When we revertedback to squid2.5.STA
