Nope, only squid.conf.default.

It's easier to use the tarball, but updating the source tree by feeding
the diff

Squid-2.6stable2 safely. Not done this before, but getting desperate as
squid is crashing 4 times a day

upgrade to the latest 2.6-stable snapshot. I believe that bug has been fixed
and Squid-2.6stable2 won't suffer from it.
