This probably isnt a good idea, since www is technically a host name. Not all sites have http://domain.com and http://www.domain.com pointing to the same place. And if you always put www if not present you will break sites that don't use it such as http://support.domain.com -Original

Is there a way I can make squid try the address i typed in with a www at the beginning if it doesn't work otherwise? Any site that doesn't have a redirector, I have to manually type in www. Many browsers will do this - check your browser documentation. That might be a better way than trying
