Well I'm no apache expert, but I think as long as apache is
configured with SSL support, it can serve up any of its virtual domains
under SSL, but the certificate is the issue. It definitely works that
way for me (mod-ssl using the same cert for all hosts).
For me a (plaintext) HTTP virtual

Hi,
I am trying to import a large address book (say a hundred entries) from
netscape4.7 to squirrelmail. For some reason squirrelmail ldif import
does not work. It comes up with invalid nickname. CSV import imports
some but not all. Is there a limit to the number of entries in the

Where do you find out what the search string is for a particular server?
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm now hosting the mail for five different domains. I got only one IP.
All domains (eg mail.ex1.com , ... , mail.ex5.com) is pointing to that IP.
If someone can answer one or both of these two questions it would be
very nice...

Consult the UW documentation that your IMAP server (should have) came
with. Changing
Not sure what SquirrelMail wants, but when adding an LDAP server via the configure
script, when asked to enter the base dn, I enter the strings that seem to work for
other LDAP based tools. Searching works on those tools, but no luck with SquirrelMail.
For instance, this is one of the entries i

I have the UW imap server running with squirrelmail for about 20
people. The default directory for the mail is /var/spool/mail/$user,
and I'd like to store the mail in a different partition which has more

about this? A link?
Thanks
A couple of days ago I finally sat down to install/configure squirrelmail.
Prior to doing anything I surfed around the the SM webpage. I noticed that a
number of people were having problems logging in. So I started.
First of all I did not have PHP installed so I commenced with that. I had

Verify that you are using the right LDAP search string for that server.
