No, actually we only ran into a version problem testing... although
there is always the chance that the solution might need one of the many
fixes found in more recent versions (debian apparently distributes
1.2.6).

Netground,
Looks like the problem is tied to the new version of vlogin Paul and I
are testing. I can get it to go away by either turning off the vlogin
plug in or reverting to the prior version (modded by me to add get based
seting of vhost).

This came up working with vlogin's developer, but continued after I
turned that plugin off.
Version: debian stable: squirrelmail 1:1.2.6-1.2
I have set up in squirrelmail's apache.conf

Alias /cyber4.csz.com/mail /usr/share/squirrelmail

eeiw. It looks like at the end of this email you got vlogin to work but
that SM choked on the URL. I am not entirely sure why, since your
apache alias seems appropriate. I am forwarding this to the SM users
list for input from others.
Folks, William and I have been tussling with getting vlogi

Every item in every option is affected. Doesn't matter if it's personal

Ok, I think I've gotten somewhere.
from mysql, I type:
USE squirrelmail
select * from userprefs;
Which shows me the contents of the userprefs table. When I make a change to
a preference, it shows up there immediately. But, in order to see any
changes within squirrelmail, I need to sign out and si

This means that the webserver can't read your functions dir. Make sure
it's there and readable for the webserver.
