I am running squirrelmail. The php files are on an nfs server so
accessible to multiple web servers behind a load balancer. The average
load was 5+ when the files existed on nfs, but when I copied them local
onto each web servers hdd the load average went down to .2 and webmail
perfomed very well.
we use it is works fine.
