I have searched the archives and cannot find any info about it. Therefore I will explain it here and see if I can get a fix. I have RedHat 7.3 running on a box w/ postfix, wu-imap/pop3 and squirrelmail 1.2.9. I have tried w/ 1.2.7, and 1.2.8 and get the same error. Here it goes. I can login, send mail, recieve mail, forward mail etc... but I can't Reply to mail. when I do, the squirrelmail tries to connect to the imap server and it seems that it tries to reconnect the login while still logged in to the imap server. The server doesn't connect correctly because the rfc for imap and pop3 both don't specify this as good behavior. The imapd dies, and the squirrelmail sits spinning for a long time before it dies after trying for a long while and running out of memory it allows allocated from the php.ini file. I don't know why only the reply function causes this, but the wu imap server doesn't support multiple connections from the same host/user, as it creates a lock file. The error in the maillog file is as follows: imapd[11240]: Killed (lost mailbox lock) user=xxxxxx host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] username etc blocked but that should give the gist of the problem. Is there something I have misconfigured? or is it a bug?
