Not that that's really relevant to the problem [;-)] but (i) it's a
firewalling issue combined with (ii) a need for the (internal) HTTP server
to be mobile while the (external) HTTPS server remains at a fixed address.
There are also some local policy constraints that come into play.

Anyway, any insights that would explain the problem?
