Please turn OFF Read Receipt Request when posting to a Mailing List.
Thanks for your help. This is the solution I came up with under the
VirtualDomain directive for webmail.mydot.net.
Redirect /index.html http://webmail.mydot.net/cgi-bin/webmail
Seems to be working for me. I'm not seeing any errors in the logs or the
behavior of the application.
Thanks agai
I've just installed FAQ-O-MATIC.
http://www.mydot.net/cgi-bin/faq?1
I haven't a clue how to use it all yet, but I'm getting there...lol I'll be
glad to host it and hopefully someone will be able to give me a hand with
moderation of the FAQ. Maybe someone else would like to help with the
initial

Clear DayI am sure this is off topic, but I could not find an answer to my
problem anywhere yet.
My current implementation of sqwebmail is located at the following URL:
http://www.mydot.net/cgi-bin/webmail
I want to be able to rewrite that in the config to:
http://webmail.mydot.net
and have it s

:) I'm sure he wouldn't mind hosting it if one of us did the work.
I hear Python comes wit
Solution 1 seems to have cured my probems. As for Solution 3, after reading
a couple of archived replies from Sam, that is not very likely to happen.
Thanks for your help Brian.

Clear DayI am having a problem with a new sqwebmail install. I can get
logged in about 1/2 the time and the other 1/2 fails with an authentication
error. When I do get logged in, I can roam around and then I get an error
that sqwebmail permissions may be wrong because it could not access my

Hello Sir,
The process it shows by 'ps -axwww | grep authdaemon' (I changed the default
to 5) eventhough the /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/authdaemonrc has '
authmodulelist="authldap" '. Why its starting authdaemond.pgsql all the time
then. Only if i manually run
"/usr/local/share/sqwebmail/libexec/a

Sir,
Our LDAP server also a POP3/IMAP server having Maildirs of all email users.
How do we enable NFS to all sqwebmail direct access to Maildirs. We've not
used NFS for so far.
When i run 'ps -ax | grep authdaemond' on sqwebmail server, shows only grep
process. But the output of 'ps -ax | grep au

Sir,
The tcpdump does not show any query coming fm sqwebmail server.
[1] On the ldap server
--authdameon.ldap is running ok
(/usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/authlib/authdaemond.ldap)
--/usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/pop3d uses AUTHMODULES="authdaemon"
--/usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/authdaemonrc uses auth

Hi all, I've configured
sqwebmail-3.5.3 on a machine different than the qmail/imap/ldap
installation. I'd like users to get authenticated thro ldap. I've
modified my authldaprc file accordincly & started the authdaemond
process. But can log in. Is it really possible to have such setup
