it's strange that i have no problem using POP3 to check mail
using subdomain...
If not, please describe your setup more completely. What O/S and version,
what authentication mechanism you are using, etc.

I need to make WebMail with features like the Yahoo! Mail has with MySQL backend.
I'm currently using VisualMail from http://www.mintersoft.com which is based on courier IMAP.

For SqWebMail, install maildirfilterconfig in
/usr/local/share/sqwebmail

why not say like
type: ./configure --prefix=[dir]
then: make && make install
