Closing with commits on current master and 5.7. Probably fixed by thread-locals
rework.

We're RHEL 9 (well actually a mix of OEL 9/Rocky and Alma 9) so I build
kamailio packages from SRPM and deploy them. I presume this is only on master?

If you want to test again and you are using debian packages, you have to switch
to nightly apt repo for 5.7 series and wait one more day, because I pushed a
bit earlier today another commit because the one from yesterday introduced
another issue.

I don't think I am able to recreate this any more. We were using freeswitch as
a webrtc server but it had its own issues so we tried to use kamailio as a
substitute for that and that's when we saw this lot. I've subsequently chased
the freeswitch bug (their bug #2283) through and they have fixed
I reworked the init_mode=1 yesterday, with commits pushed to git master and 5.7
branches. Try again with one of these latest versions. The crash is not related
to websockets, but to tls, seems to be like in #3635 (/notexpired).

So it didn't actually crash but I took this out again after a few minutes due
to errors in the log. There are some that look "normal" but others that
definitely do not. Normal ones look like this
Oct 9 20:06:11 kamrtc01 /usr/sbin/kamailio[1171]: INFO: tls_wolfssl
[tls_domain.c:742]: sr_ssl_ctx
Thanks for the update, I will try to test this out of hours one night to see if
it improves stability.

@themsley-voiceflex - I am able to reproduce OpenSSL crashes now with EL9 +
OpenSSL 3. I thought this had been fixed with the pthread locking work but it
seems more complicated than that.
To isolate the problem I have created a build kamailio of 5.7.2/EL9 with a
`tls_wolfssl` subpackage for te
